Bring registration books or documents, as they are requested upon arrival at the border post. If the driver is not the registered owner of the vehicle, then a vehicle authorisation letter is required. Please note, in Mozambique vehicles drive on the left hand side of the road and by law all vehicles are to have two reflective triangles and a reflective vest in the case of an emergency. Don’t ever give your drivers license to a traffic official.

No. We highly advise filling up in the bigger towns like Xai Xai and Maputo. Lindela is the last petrol station before the Jangamo turn-off. While you can full up there, the availability of petrol in high season is luck of the draw.

Yes, there is a small supermarket called Tauras, based in Jangamo Beach that sells basic essentials. If you are looking for fresh fruit and veg, it is advised to take a trip to Inhambane where you will find the local market packed with seasonal fruit, veg and curios.

Take precaution before the trip, there are a number of options for prescription drugs or natural remedies. If you feel flu-like symptoms ten days after the trip we highly recommend you see a GP. All rooms are equipped with mosquito nets except our camping barracas. We do recommend insect repellent sprays (Tabard, peaceful sleep).

All bedding is provided. You will need to bring your own bath towels and swimming towels.

Yes, there is. Please allow for a 1-2 day turn-around.

Yes. All water is from the resort borehole.

Yes. However, this is a place for relaxation, the outdoors & R&R’s, an opportunity to unplug from the outside world and enjoy your natural setting. For this reason, our wi-fi is capped. We trust you will thank us for this later.

There are South African plug points in each unit. If you are travelling from overseas you will need an international adapter.

Yes, each cabanna has a chest deep freeze. If travelling from South Africa, one can vacuum pack meat for the first few days, allowing you time to get acquainted with the resort and settle in before heading out to find meat and seafood.

Guests can expect to all the basic cutlery and crockery such as knives, forks and spoons, plates and cups, and cooking utensils.

Yes, each unit comes with a built in braai unit. Charcoal is available at the bar.

Yes, we have a child minder on-site who is available on request.
